"Misty Morning III" #556. Original acrylic diptych painting on wraparound panel about 2" deep. Each panel 40"x30". $1900

Returning from a visit to Fort Ross in north central California, I caught several scenes of a misty road where the peaks to the right could have been clouds or distant hills. This peaceful scene drew me in - it could be the road to anywhere I wanted to go.

Inscription along near horizon reads: And the road leads on, disappearing into the mountains or the mists, or both, and the ancient markings at the roadside remind us that others have travelled almost the same path, but perhaps in the opposite direction.
